Ryan Maxey retired as a professional basketballer in Bolivia to return to California and make films. He makes films with his community of friends in their LA co-op house. He's enthusiastic about counter culture, minimalist filmmaking, and breakfast cereal. His work has screened at SXSW, Hot Docs, and True/False.
