American performance artist Narcissister takes a smart, sassy, spectacle-rich approach to exploring the kinds of sexual fetishism that notoriously fix racial and gender stereotypes combining unabashed eroticism, humor, and poignancy to stretch viewers' sensibilities.  "Organ Player" is originally a Bessie Awards-nominated performance. “Narcissister Organ Player” is a hybrid documentary/performance film about how my complex family history — in particular my relationship with my mother — compelled me to create the masked, erotic character Narcissister." - Narcissister.  A confrontational, thought-provoking portrait of a family, a radical artistic practice, and an exploration of how ancestral data is stored in our bodies, impacting the lives we lead.

Narcissister is a Brooklyn-based artist and performer who works at the intersection of dance, art, and activism in a range of media including video art and experimental music. She won Best Use of a Sex Toy at The Good Vibrations Erotic Film Festival, a Bessie Award nomination for the theatrical performance of “Organ Player,”  appeared on “America’s Got Talent.” Narcissister's work tends to focus on race, gender, and sexuality, using her slight anonymity to explore such topics controversially. She prefers her identity remain secret.
