Hal Samples: It all started as a mistake for Hal Samples. His personal handycam footage taken from the streets of Dallas was taken between the years 2004-2006. It is reimagined through Animation Director F. Joseph Santori and his friends at Minnow Mountain Animation Studios in Austin, TX . Known for not being known and sometimes talks very little, Hal, was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and now works as a Film Director for LUSH UK where he lives with his family in Edinburgh and is currently working on the full length series episodic release to Samples of Society.
F. Joseph Santori (Director/Producer of Animation): Multimedia artist, animator, music composer & performer, F. J. Santori has produced a variety of digital media projects in cinema, computer gaming, and onstage since the early 90’s. Having moved to Austin, TX from Athens, GA in 1992 as touring musician, he "fell back" onto his visual art capabilities when the music scene became too saturated to make a living. After 10 years working in the gaming industry he entered the world of cinema as a key animator on the Warner Independent film “A Scanner Darkly” and has since gone on to lead many other digital projects ranging from application design & development for social good endeavors, to video and animated shorts for film or marketing.
Today he still resides in Austin, TX with his son and still regularly performs music with musicians from around the world when not working on visual art.
