Hailing from the Dominican Republic, Alina Landry Rancier is a filmmaker, video artist, and motion designer who lives in NYC. Her video art has been presented in galleries, art fairs, and museums in New York City, Miami, and Santo Domingo. She has collaborated for over 14 years in the field of motion design in some of the best agencies and design studios in NYC creating
campaigns and multimedia pieces for international brands like NY Times, Google, H&M, Instagram, Converse, and many more.
Her films and video art are concerned with human behavior and the influence love and loss have on its metamorphosis.
Within this, the exploration of fear and its influence on humanity remain her central focus, her compositions a reflection of a desire to document and reveal its impact on our characters.
She studied communication design in Altos de Chavon, Dominican Republic where she won the Bludhorn Scholarship to finish her studies in Parsons the New School of Design in NYC.
