Allison CookAllsion Cook received her MFA with honors in directing and screenwriting from Columbia University and a BA in English literature from Wellesley College. Her thesis film for Columbia, Remains, was chosen as one of seven Faculty Selects films in the Columbia University Film Festival for 2007. The film also won the New Line Award. It screened at festivals around the U.S. and won several awards. Her other films include Locked Upstairs (2005) and Junior (2006). She is based in Austin, Texas.
