AARON

Aaron, a young man, returns home after a failed suicide attempt. There he meets his family and eventually co-workers who show concern and ask questions regarding his absence. Nevertheless, Aaron continues on his original trajectory.

Aviva Neuman is a Swedish/American filmmaker living in New York City. She is currently pursuing her MFA at Columbia University School of Art in screenwriting and directing. She was awarded a fellowship by the American - Scandinavian Foundation in 2016. Her shorts have shown at Bath International Film Festival, Manchester International Film Festival, Williamsburg International Film Festival, Portland Oregon Women's Film Festival, New Filmmakers LA and Vail International Film Festival. 

She's the writer of the short film 20 Minutes, which was selected for Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival and Boston International Film Festival. Aviva was also selected with her feature screenplay Joni to New York Women in Film & TV (NYWIFT) from Script to Screen mentorship program in 2018.
