Darwin Serink is an award winning Canadian/American Filmmaker currently living in Los Angeles. His debut film ABAN + KHORSHID screened at over sixty film festivals world-wide and won over a dozen awards including: Cannes Emerging Filmmakers Showcase – Best LGBT Film, Seattle International Film Festival – Special Jury Award, Cleveland International Film Festival – Best LGBT Short, to name a select few. He was a writing fellow at Out Fest Los Angeles’ Screenwriters lab with his screenplay PAPER CRANES which went on to become a quarter finalist in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship for Screenwriting. Darwin’s passion for making films is out of a desire to use the power of story to inspire and grow our world.
