Stephen Cervantes is a native of Indiana, but grew up in Southeastern Connecticut. He graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and Television in 2013. His undergrad thesis film, "Big World," won a directing award at NYU's First Run Film Festival. He also went to Sundance with it in 2014 for HP's Emerging Filmmaker's Program. Stephen now lives with his wife in Los Angeles, CA - who he only just married July 4th weekend 2018 - and their dog, "Eight".
