Logan Sandler obtained his M.F.A. from the American Film Institute in Film Directing. His first feature film, Live Cargo, formerly known as Happy People, is in post-production. Live Cargo recently took part in the U.S. in Progress Paris section of the Champs-Élysées Film Festival. Live Cargo was one of 10 feature films selected by IFP, to their 11th annual Independent Filmmaker Lab of 2015. Logan’s graduate thesis film, “Tracks,” starring Independent Spirit Award nominee Keith Stanfield (Short Term 12, Selma), recently screened at AFI’s Directors Guild of America showcase. Tracks will screen at the Cambridge Film Festival (UK), 24FPS International Film Festival and at the Rome International Film Festival. Logan graduated with honors in 2011 from Loyola Marymount University’s School of film and Television with a BA in Film Production. ALL IT WILL EVER BE, Logan’s undergraduate thesis short film, screened in competition at the 16th Annual Bermuda International Film Festival, and was screened at the Film Anthology Archives in New York City. The film was also a finalist at the 34th Annual Short Film & Video Competition at the USA Film Festival in Dallas.
